600 vacancies will be accessible to job seekers
More than 3000 visitors are expected at the seventh edition of the Job Fair Business Parks of Mauritius Limited (BPML), to be held at the headquarters of the Cyber Tower 1, Ebene between Friday 27 and Saturday, March 28. During a meeting with the press Wednesday, Kishore Gujadhur, Project Manager of BPML, revealed that 24 participants of the Business Process Outsourcing sector/Information Technology and Communications (BPO / ICT) will be waiting to offer young school leavers the opportunity to start a career in the IT sector.
It turns out that over 600 vacancies will be accessible to job seekers, depending on the position. Veena Ramdhur, Marketing Manager BPML has insisted that the job fair organized by the BPML for several years did not focus on vacancies in call centers only. Veena Ramdhur encourages job seekers to bring their CV and prepare for interviews since some companies have to undertake a screening of candidates or recruit locally.
Of the 24 participants, there are two educational institutions including Elite Business School and Supinfo International University who will guide participants wishing to pursue higher education. Other participants include Ceridian (Mauritius Ltd), TNT Business Solutions, Orange Business Services and Accenture, Accenture, Infomil (Mauritius), FRCI, Business At Work, Outremer Telecom, Blueconnect, Euro CRM, SIL and Call Services Ltd ( CSL).
